Powder Eights is when two skiiers, one directly uphill from the other, sychronize their movements. Making the same exact turn shape at the same time, they create a braided path in the snow.
The Powder Eights pattern is for a large cabled brioche hat.

This pattern also includes optional instructions for a children’s large/adult small hat in worsted, adding a brim, or creating a slouchier, beret style hat.

Recommended skills: knitting in the round, cables and an understanding of the brioche stitch.

<b>Erratum: At the end of the Cable Round B repeat between the s, it should say “2 times” instead of “yb.” An updated version of the pattern will be available shortly. 4/9
