Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge, and use a cable of a length comfortable to work with.

GAUGE (after blocking, measured unstretched)
With US 6 (4 mm) needle,
Stockinette stitch: 23 sts & 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm
With US 4 (3.50 mm) needle,
Stockinette stitch: 24.5 sts & 31.5 rows = 4” / 10 cm

NOTIONS
4 stitch markers, waste yarn or stitch holder for holding stitches, tapestry needle

PATTERN NOTE
Using US 6 / 4 mm needle, the front shoulders and the upper front as well as the back shoulders and the upper back are worked back and forth in Stockinette, then the front and back are joined and worked in the round.
Many increases are made to create ruffles.

The neck border is worked in the round from stitches picked up around the neck line, using US 4 / 3.5 mm needle.

パターンノート

増し目をしてフリルを編みます.
US 4の針に替え, 襟の目を拾い, 襟を輪で編みます.
