Potluck Mitts
What do you do with all those little leftover balls of yarn? Fingerless mitts are the answer! With this simple pattern, you can use up all those little balls, orphan skeins of yarn, or simply indulge your color fantasies! Since these mitts are worked from the top down, you can use every bit of your yarn, making the cuffs as long or short as you desire or the yarn allows. No yarn manipulation gymnatics required - you use only one color of yarn per round. Quick and easy, these make a welcome hand-warming gift!
These are an excellent way to try new edgings and several variations are given in the pattern. The photos show three different edgings: from the top - ribbed edge, purled edge, braided edge.
Instructions are both written and charted: knitter’s choice!
September 2017: This pattern is now available in German thanks to Omissi! Upon purchase, you will be able to download both the English and German versions of the pattern.
