Meet Portia, a proper pink pig who loves to spend hot summer days longing around in the mud.

She can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.

My Portia is made in Vanna’s Choice Solids using two colors:

• Color 1: Pink (100 yards)
• Color 2: Charcoal (20 yards)

Portia is an intermediate-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, increases, decreases, color changes, crocheting two rounds together, and some seaming. This pattern is entirely seamless, as the limbs will be attached as the body is worked. A tutorial on how to attach pieces using single crochet is included.
