Poppy Tee is both simple and feminine, with a flattering fit and elegant picot trims on the sleeves and body. These beautiful details, as well as the rolled neckline edge, give a professional finish and keep the project interesting and challenging. For now, the language used in these videos is Danish but the steps are clearly demonstrated and it should be possible to follow by muting the sound.

Poppy Tee is worked from the top and down in one strand of Trio (50% linen, 30% cotton and 20% bamboo) and one strand of Alpaca 1, both from Isager Yarn in Denmark. The suggested needle size is 4.00 mm [US6], but you can find the correct needle size for your yarn and gauge by making a swatch before you begin knitting the tee.

Choose your size by finding the finished bust measurement that is closest to your own bust measurement. The pattern also contains additional notes on choosing the right size. In total, you will need 5-7 balls of yarn.


The pattern was published as a collaboration between knit designer Ninette Hartwich and Garnvärk, a yarn shop in Fredensborg, Denmark.
