Poppy Socks | Turkish Socks
The pattern is completed using a free sole technique that starts under the ball of the foot and uses a short row toe shaping. The instep is knit in colourwork design then starting again at the beginning the sole and heel are knit in a single colour.
The leg is knit in the round in the colourwork design.
Gauge for colourwork on 2.75 mm needles is 38 sts and 38 rows per
4”
Gauge for colourwork on 3.25 mm needles is 32 sts and 35 rows per 4”
Socks as pictured are knit negative /positive so it is possible to get two socks out of much less than 100g of each yarn.
