The shawl is worked from bottom edge to neck, back and forth. The bottom edge, right border, left border and central spine are worked in moss stitch. Each of these sections are fully charted. The main sections, to the right and left of the middle spine are worked in Poppy pattern. All rows for this pattern are shown with all WS rows purled. The model is worked with 2 colors, but the shawl will also look great with 1 color. The size of the shawl can be varied by using thicker or thinner yarn and/or changing the needle size.

Techniques:
Knit, purl, yo, ssk, sssk, k2tog, k3tog, s2tog-k1-p2sso (CDD), cable with 2, 3 and 4 stitches – cables can be knitted without a cable needle.
