Suggested yarn: worsted in three colours, sample yarn: Alize Cashmira
Notions: 3.0 mm (US 2.5) 16”/40 cm circular needle or DPNs (gauge needle), 2.5 mm (US 1.5) 16”/40 cm circular needle or DPNs (brim needle), 3.5 mm (US 4) 16”/40 cm circular needle or DPNs, optional: pompom maker.
Gauge: 20 sts & 30 rows in 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in stockinette stitch.
Stranded colourwork should have the same gauge as above. Most knitters work at a tighter colourwork, so I suggest working that part with larger needles - for example 3.5 mm (US 4). If you are not sure – use the larger needles.
