Popham Pullover is the perfect casual sweater for adventures this summer! With a flattering oversize fit and a cozy collar, it is yet another classic that will go with anything. You can choose between two neck closure styles, a zip up option (shown on sample), and a buttonband option (displayed on many of the wonderful test knits)
Intended to be worn with 5-10” / 12.5-25 cm of positive ease. Sample modeled with approximately 10”/25 cm of positive ease.
1000, 1100, 1225, 1325, 1450, 1575, 1700, 1800, 1950, 2050, 2150, 2250, 2350 yards / 914, 1005, 1120, 1210, 1325, 1440, 1550, 1645, 1780, 1870, 1960, 2050, 2150 meters.
Sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up, then split for upper body/armholes and worked flat. Shoulders are joined with 3 needle bind off for structure and integrity. Collar is picked up and worked flat. Sleeves are picked up and knit in the round. Choose from two options: buttonband, or zipper. Buttonband is worked seamlessly with sweater. Zipper casing is worked with sweater and seamed after. Sizes are referred to as A (B, C, D, E)(F, G, H, I) (J, K, L, M) within the pattern.
Some testers found the sleeves slightly long- to modify this, you can work your decreases using the same NUMEBER of decreases but at a shorter RATE (so for example, every 10 rows instead of every 11 or 12 rows)
