GAUGE
In pattern, 4 dc-ch1 meshes and 3 rows = 4” (10 cm) before blocking. Blocking will relax pattern somewhat.

Begin with Base Chain with SC to prevent distortion. (Directions are provided.)

Lion Brand Construction Notes:
Poncho is worked in joined rounds, back and forth from the neck down in one piece. Sets of corner increases create a not-quite rectangle shape (will not open out flat but will cup). Keep “seam” formed by turning chains in a corner where it is nicely hidden. Cuffs and rolled neck are worked onto the piece later.
