The accordion ponchette is an easy knit for beginning knitters and is slighly larger than the cable ponchette because the cables pull in the fabric. The fabric will relax after washing and thus be a bit longer and wider than before washing.

The cable pattern is tricky because some cables are 2 knit sts and 1 purl and they cross both right and left. The instructions both written and charted have been thoroughly checked.
