Notes: Pomme is worked inside-out in the round from the bottom up, beginning with a garter stitch rib. Up to the armholes, the body is worked without any shaping. When the appropriate height is reached, a few rounds of plain knit without any pattern are worked, which are folded over and knitted together with the stitches from a few rounds below, creating a tuck. At the same time, stitches are set aside for the straps. The stitches are increased to form the ruffle by adding yarn overs. Finally, the held stitches are picked up again and the straps are formed by knitting i-cords that will be sewn in the back. Elastic cord is threaded through the top tuck to help the top keep its shape.
