PATTERN NOTES

Polperro Tee is part of the Polperro collection, we have a Vest, a Dress, a short sleeve Tee and a Skirt. All Polperro are designed with check stitch as the main technique throughout.

This design is knitted from top, with a raglan increase to shape the shoulder and sleeve in the Yoke section, move on to knit body and then both sleeves. 2 different kind of yarn are used in the sample - Mohair and Fingering weight yarn. This will create a fun texture, you can choose lace weight, up to DK weight yarn, just make sure to check your gauge by knitting a small swatch with the check stitch before starting!

The check stitch pattern is created by alternating 1 knit stitch in Yarn A with 3 purl stitches in Yarn B. Always carry both yarns along the wrong side (back) of work, maintaining the proper float tension so as not to pucker the fabric. Every 6th round is an eyelet round worked with Yarn A only.
