Polperro is a really simple sock design suitable for beginner sock knitters. Worked from the top down, they feature a sweet gansey pattern on the leg and instep worked in just knit and purl stitches. The pattern is well explained when it comes to turning the heel and working the gusset. I was told by one of my testers they are possibly the best fitting socks she has ever made! Choose to work in contrasting colours or one colour only. This pattern also lends itself well to variegated yarn.
