The design:
Pocketful of Posies is a hexagon motif design with a faux appliqué hand stitched look floral centre and edging motifs that extend the posies out beyond the border
Materials needed:
Pocketful of Posies was designed using 8ply/DK/weight 3 yarn. Each hexagon is approx. and uses- CC1: 5m, CC2: scrap approx 1m MC: main motif 17m, shallow edge motif 14m, deep edge motif 10m + joining yarn meterage, which will vary depending on layout and size of your chosen finished project
Please note exact amount will vary between yarns and hook used
Stitch marker
Wool/darning needle
Recommended Hook size:
3.5-4.5 mm for 8ply/DK/Weight 3
And 4-5 mm for round 3
Or hook appropriate for your chosen yarn weight
Stitch abbreviations:

MC: Main colour
CC: Contrast colour/s
pm: Place marker
stdc: standing dc
dc: Double crochet
sc: Single crochet
bl: Work the stitch in the back loop only e.g bldc
ch: chain
skp: Skip stitch
sl st: Slip stitch
ch-sp: Chain space
