Pocket Blankie with Monster Friend
We sure did use a lot of blankets when Presley was little, but the unique ones were used most. I designed this one as sort of half-toy, half-blanket. Babies love stripes! At just a month old Presley was fascinated by the gray-and-black stripes. This blanket is fun to hang on the edge of a crib or to use as a stroller blanket since the monster can be moved into different pockets for entertainment. Knit the monster given here, or substitute any of the monsters from “Monster Mobile” (Also from Knit a Monster Nursery). Just use the same yarn for the blanket and a U.S. size 5 needle.
