Pleated Posey Flats
Pattern is Easy/Intermediate.
This little bootie aims to please the most fashionable little girls! Boutique-quality designs and embellishment suggest that this little slipper might even pass for a shoe if it weren’t so comfy. The sculpted sole and rounded toe of Pleated Posey Flats mimic the shape of a tiny foot ever so delicately. Make a pair in every color and dress them up as you please! Make them for your little one or feel free to sell them in your bazaars and craft stores. (I do appreciate credit for the pattern, however, which is not to be resold or duplicated--thanks!)
I highly encourage experimentation with all my designs. You do not have to use cotton worsted weight yarn. For example, you may choose to use DK weight with a size E or F hook in order to obtain the perfect size for a newborn preemie. Adversely, you may choose to use a size K hook and 2 strands of yarn… the outcomes are endless! Ribbons, buttons, baubles… fetch’em and have a blast!
Count your stitches and follow the pattern exactly as it is written, for some of the starts and stops on the sole round may seem a bit odd.
Blessings!
