Pleated Eternity Scarf
A few knit-purl stitch patterns will naturally form pleats in the fabric. They’re great for scarves, especially if you choose a fiber like alpaca, very soft with lots of drape. But we love this cowl in just about any yarn, including Louet Euroflax -- the polar opposite of alpaca. The pleats will magically appear regardless of the yarn gauge or content. Try the shorter version in luxury yarns like Jeannette from Mountain Colors or Mohair Splash from ArtYarns.
