The New Color Work
> Plaza

Plaza
Plaza is inspired by open, beautiful spaces where people meet to enjoy outdoor cafes and conversation. The sample is worked in three shades of blue, tomato red and rust, with some light neutrals added for balance. The subtle flecks in the tweed yarns help to marry the colors together.
The blanket is worked in square blocks that are sewn together with mattress stitch, using long tails left for this purpose. The knitting itself uses only decreases to create the shapes, and is worked mostly flat, except for the center which is worked in the round so as to join the other pieces together.
The pattern includes full written instructions, and step-by-step construction illustrations. Optional charts, coloring page and video technique tutorials links are also provided.
