An ode to my love of braids, whether I’m braiding my own hair, my daughter’s, tying knots as meditation, or admiring intricately woven plaits, this top-down stranded colorwork pullover knits up quickly and beautifully on worsted weight yarn. Beginning with a tubular cast on, stranded colorwork braids or plaits weave themselves across the yoke followed by gentle German short row shaping. The bottom edge and cuffs are tipped with colorwork.
