This simple, unisex slouchy hat works up quickly in super bulky yarn. Worked from brim to crown, the size can be easily adjusted to make the perfect custom gift.

The pattern is labeled as intermediate because of the special stitch patterns, but an adventurous beginner armed with video tutorials can definitely complete this project!

Lion Brand Heartland Thick & Quick yarn (100% acrylic, 5 oz/142 g/125 yd/114 m) – 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins in 113 Redwood, or approximately 125 (125, 125, 125, 125, 250, 250, 250, 250) yd/114 (114, 114, 114, 114, 228, 228, 228, 228) m in any super bulky weight yarn.

US Size M-13/9 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Yarn needle.
