Pizzo e Ruggine (Lace and Rust) is a classical symmetrical triangle worked from the top down to the bottom edge.
The body is embellished by a simple stitch motif mimicking little flowers. An elegant lace pattern is used in the border section, balancing the shawl with an airy and light border.
To design this shawl I used a very special yarn: Maison Corlene Fisherman, a Wensleydale Non Superwash Twisted Fingering with a unique shine and texture.

GAUGE after blocking: 22 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in Stockinette stitch.
Gauge is not critical; different gauge will only affect finished size and yardage.
FINISHED SIZE after blocking: 154 x 68 cm / 60.5” x 26.75”.
MATERIALS:
Light Fingering weight yarn approx 700 metres.
