Pizazzy Cowl
Pizazzy is available at the introductory price of 30% off through November 12, 2023.
Using only two colors, Pizazzy begins with a classic 2x2 ribbing, which then progresses to a wide band worked in the Thorne Stitch. From there, you will work the widest section in a single color with a simple slip-stitch ribbing that will create columns which travel up the cowl. The last section will incorporate those slip-stitch columns while bringing the second color back for an interesting finale.
This is a knit for those who like variety and transitions in each project. Like all other slip-stitch designs, you will only need to carry one color for each round. For the samples in the photos, I used marled yarns for an interesting effect. I recommend choosing two colors that are highly contrasted so the pattern pops. To achieve the effect of my sample, choose one color that is variegated, and one that isn’t. My yarn adds another layer of interest as it is not only variegated, but has a gradual striping effect.
One size.
