Pixie Bag
This pattern is based on a Pixie Hat that my great-grandmother made for most of the family. I liked the shape of the hat and decided to put two of them together to make a bag.
While the bag is seamless, there are multiple pieces that are knit together as the pattern goes. It is possible to knit all the pieces separately and seam them if you prefer that method.
The main panel might seem intimidating but it is a visual pattern that makes sense after a few rows. Each group of 3 rows forms a stripe and each subsequent stripe is 2 stitches shorter for the first half and longer for the second half.
This pattern is for personal use only.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Finished Measurements: 10” wide by 4 ½” deep at the center. The strap is 12 inches long and 1 ½” wide.
