Pityoulish Vest
The book is also available in print from Black Isle Yarns for £15.
Simple lace suggesting rippling waters embellishes a relaxed top that’s perfect for a walk on those days that aren’t quite as warm as they might be.
The top is worked from the top down, casting on for the back with the shoulders and neck shaped using short rows in the garter yoke. Once the back is worked to the armholes, stitches are picked up for the front yoke.
After joining in the round at the underarm the remainder of the body is knit in the round. Stitches are picked up for the cap sleeves, which are gently shaped using short rows in garter stitch.
