Pitcha est un petit châle symétrique tricoté en combinant un brin de laine fingering et un brin de laine lace.
Il se tricote en aller-retour de gauche à droite.
J’ai voulu imaginer un châle rapide et facile à réaliser mais qui serait chaud grâce aux laines utilisées et à son point texturé super moelleux.

Le modèle est accessible aux débutant.e.s curieux.ses. Les explications sont données sous forme de diagrammes ou écrites rang par rang.

Laine
Le châle se tricote avec un mélange de 2 fils tenus ensemble: 1 fil de type fingering et 1 fil de type lace (mohair et soie) ou approximativement 370m / 400y de chacun des 2 fils. Il peut également être tricoté avec un seul fil de DK.

Le modèle présenté a été tricoté avec 1 écheveau de ByNightCreations Orion (75% Bluefaced Leicester - 25% Mid-Brown Masham –
100 g/400 m/440 y) coloris Cochenille b3 et 1 écheveau de ByNightCreations Halo (72% superkid mohair / 28% soie de mûrier - 50g/420m/460y) coloris cachou-cochenille.

Pitcha is a small symmetric shawl knitted holding one strand of fingering-type yarn together with one strand of lace-type yarn. It is worked in one piece, back and forth from left to right.

With this design, I meant to create a shawl fast and easy to make but nicely warm thanks to the yarns used and its textured pattern.

The pattern is accessible to curious beginners. Instructions are both on charts and written row by row.

Yarns
This shawl is knitted holding 2 yarns together: 1 fingering-type yarn
and 1 lace-type yarn (mohair and silk) or approximatively 370m / 400y
of each yarn. You can also knit it with one strand of DK-weight yarn.

Sample was knitted using 1 skein of ByNightCreations Orion (75% Bluefaced Leicester - 25% Mid-Brown Masham – 100 g/400 m/440 y) colorway Cochenille b3 and 1 skein of ByNightCreations Halo (72% superkid mohair / 28% mulberry silk - 50g/420m/460y) colorway Cachou / Cochenille.
