Pirouette twirling colors dance across its surface in shades of green and blue. This blanket can be worked modularly with no sewing or in vertical strips sewn together.

The blanket is shown in Jaggerspun yarns, but sadly, this Maine-based mill closed. The blanket can be worked in a DK or worsted yarn with consistent width. Natural fibers (cotton, silk, and linen excepted) or in Acrylics or blends.

The blanket uses a variety of techniques. For both constructions, you’ll use short rows for garter stitch, 3-needle bind offs, and pick up and knit. Then depending on whether you choose the modular or strip (sewn) construction, you’ll either knit in the round or sew.

You’ll enjoy watching this blankets evolve in a real beauty as you knit it!

The pattern includes full written instructions, step-by-step construction illustrations and links to coloring page, video technique tutorials, and optional charts.
