My husband helped me name this one; I think “Pins and Needles” works really well as a title!

There are a lot of brackets in this pattern. I use three types of brackets: ( ) { } and I always use them in the same order { ( ) }. You will receive four files:

For the blanket:

• the interlocking pattern and a one-page chart (201 x 241),
• the overlay mosaic pattern and an X-marked chart (201 x 241)

For the repeatable section:

• the interlocking pattern and a one-page chart (93 x 91),
• the overlay mosaic pattern and an X-marked chart (89 x 87)

The interlocking mesh dots and extra border lines have been removed from the REPEATABLE MOSAIC pattern.

The Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet method uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; two colors are worked alternately which creates the pattern.

Mosaic crochet is single crochet and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color’s single crochet stitches to create the design. My patterns instruct you to cut your yarn at the end of each row. The back is striped but often gives a faint impression of the pattern on the front (sort of like illusion knitting). • Worsted Weight Yarn (3500 yards)
• Main Color (MC) – 1700 yards plus 100 yards for optional SC border
• Accent Color (AC) – 1700 yards
• Crochet hook: 4.5 mm (US7)
• Stitch marker
• Gauge: 16 stitches x 8 rows in one color = 4” square

Interlocking Crochet REPEATABLE

• Worsted Weight Yarn (600-625 yards)
• Main Color (MC) – 300 yards plus 25 yards for optional SC border
• Accent Color (AC) – 300 yards
• Crochet hook: 4.5 mm (US7)
• Stitch marker
• Gauge: 16 stitches x 8 rows in one color = 4” square
• SINGLE REPEAT 23.35” x 22.75” / 59cm x 58cm

Mosaic Crochet BLANKET

• Worsted Weight Yarn (4100 yards)
• Main Color (MC) – 1950 yards
• Coordinating Color (CC) – 1950 yards
• Plus 200 yards for optional envelope border
• Crochet hook: 4.5 mm (US7)
• Scissors
• Gauge: 16 sc stitches x 16 rows = 4” square

Mosaic Crochet REPEATABLE

• Worsted Weight Yarn (800 + yards)
• Main Color (MC) – 375 yards
• Coordinating Color (CC) – 425 yards
• Plus optional envelope border
• Crochet hook: 5 mm (H-8)
• Scissors
• Gauge: 14 stitches x 15 rows = 4”
