When I got my hands on this lovely yarn from Ritual Dyes I knew I wanted to design something extra special. I wanted to combine all of my favorite techniques -- seamless yoke, color work knitting and lace -- into one comfy, easy-to-wear sweater with a flattering amount of ease. This has quickly become a favorite piece in my handmade wardrobe and is truly a joy to knit!

A note on the yarns: The Fingering weight and lace Mohair yarns are meant to be held together; (B1 & B2, C1 & C2) so each letter is held together with the other yarn of the same letter. You may also substitute a single strand of light worsted weight or Dk in place of any or all of the yarns held double.

US Size 8 (5.0 mm) needles, minimum 20” cord
A note on cord lengths, you may want to increase cord lengths as your yoke and sweater grow in size.

This sweater is meant to be worn with 4-10” positive ease. To pick your size, choose the finished measurement that reflects the amount of desired ease. Shown in Size 3 with approximately 8” positive ease.

Gauge
16 stitches x 25 rows = 4 x 4” / 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round with larger needles and Yarn A.

Notes
This sweater is worked from the top down in the round. A simple lace motif lines the ribbed collar, and short rows are worked across the back to shape the shoulders. The sleeves and body are separated after the yoke motif and worked separately down to the cuff and hem. The simple lace motif at the collar is repeated on the sleeve just before the cuff.
