This pattern is knitted flat and seamed. It uses only simple stitches – the only fiddly bit is the sewing up. The body should be knitted quite tightly so that the stuffing is not visible through the stitches. If you find it difficult to work on small needles, use slightly larger needles but make sure the stuffing doesn’t show through.
