Pink and Navy Jumper
THERE is much consolation for cooler days when you see the delightful new fashions in woollies! The model shown here is essentially youthful and tremendously becoming. The deep Raglan sleeves are so slimming. You’ll knit this in a couple of evenings with the greatest of ease.
Materials required: 6oz. of “Golden Eagle” 3-ply “Standard” fingering in pink, and 1oz. in navy blue. 1 pair each of No. 8 and No. 13 “Stratnoid” knitting needles. 1 No. 13 “Stratnoid” crochet hook. 3 fancy buttons.
Measurements.—Length from shoulder, 18½in.; width all round under the arms, 34in.; length of sleeve seam, 20in.
Tension.—6 stitches to 1in. in width and 10 rows to 1in. in depth, measured across the body part without being stretched out. The sleeves, when pressed, measure 6 rows to the inch in depth.
