Pinecone Plethora
by Gemma R Owen
These pinecones are created using fpdc dec sts. Uniquely done but easily made, you’ll love his beauty. I used size 7 hook and mines is 16” lightly blocked, but one tester used a size 5 hook and hers is 20”. For larger hook I recommend you have 400 yards of thread available So regardless what hook you choose, this will be a larger doily. Mine both took one ball of Scheepjes Maxi Sugar Rush each doily, 306 yds per ball. This can be made into a sunflower as one tester has done. Or make it into a lovely Christmas colored one.
