Pineapple Checkerboard Afghan
by Hélène Rush
Pineapples are crocheted in the center of double-crochet blocks, which alternate with shell-stitch blocks for a charming checkerboard effect in our appropriately-named, monochromatic afghan. An openwork border ends in dramatic points that frame the piece perfectly.
