The pattern is both for mitts and full mittens!

The best thing about knitting is that it is not only knit and purl stitches, it’s so much more, it is also colorwork knitting, and love.
You can knit whatever you want as long as you want it.

And yeah, I love owls, owls are the best animal in all categories, and my favorite owl is Pigwidegon who is Ron’s owl in the Harry Potter-series.
Since I love also the name of the owl, Pigwidegon, what’s not to love about that name?

His character is also fantastic, energetic and a bit silly and stupid character, a bit like my boyfriend’s dog.

I love the bright colors that do not always perhaps belong together, that hot pink and bright red, the first pair that I knitted according to this pattern was actually just in the colors, then so I decided to also knit a pair of mittens too, and not just mitts.

I like best to knit in thin needles and light yarns, then there is room for more motifs!
