Pigment of My Imagination
Have fun with color! This wrap is your chance to play with color combinations and variegated or speckled yarns.
It is especially effective to use a variegated or speckled yarn for your contrasting color. But don’t stop there! Try tonal variations, or pull in a second speckled yarn for your main color.
The pattern contains both written and charted directions for the lace portion. This pattern has been edited and test knit.
Yardage requirements:
Main Color: 430 yards (393 m)
Contrast Color: 330 yards (301 m)
Optional third color:
If your main color yarn has less yardage than required for the whole shawl, take the opportunity to add a third color for the final lace section, as I did with the dark gray-blue-green Plucky Knitter version in the photos. If you choose this option I would suggest the following yardage:
Main Color: 330 yards (301 m)
Contrast Color 1(body): 330 yards (301 m)
Contrast Color 2(lace): 110 yards (100 m)
