This pattern is easy to follow but requires basic crochet knowledge.

It is worked in African Flower shapes with instructions on how to make the motifs plus picture and written instructions to follow for assembly.

Materials
All weights are approximate and will vary depending on the brand of yarn you choose and how tightly you crochet.

I used Yarn art jeans for this pattern
You can of course use any brand of fine/ sports/2 fine yarn.
This pattern would also work using double-knit/light/3 weight or aran/worsted/4 weight yarn but would be bigger.

White- 25g
Charcoal- 25g
Brown - 25g
Safety eyes 14mm
Toy stuffing.

Hooks required
2.00 mm

Size
By using this yarn and hook sizes your finished Guinea Pig will be roughly
10cm/4inches in height
27 cm/10 inches in length
10cm/4inches in width

This pattern uses US terms,
Ch = chain stitch
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Dc = double crochet
Tr = treble crochet
Inc= single crochet increase
Dec = single crochet decrease
FLO = Front loop only
BLO = Back loop only

If you are planning to make your Guinea Pig in a heavier weight yarn, adjust your hook size accordingly. Use the smallest hook size possible for the weight of yarn that you are using. You need the stitches tight so the stuffing doesn’t show too much between stitches.
I recommend making a test motif to gauge tension.
