Picture it Sicily 1922… such a famous phrase spoken by such an iconic legend. Mrs. Sophia Petrillo! The Golden Girls was a show I grew up watching, admiring, and becoming obsessed with. Sophia always stood out to me, both in the show and Estelle Getty in real life. My second daughter is named after her. She is strong, resilient, wise, funny, loyal, and very outspoken.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
-Adult size, easily customizable with larger needles for larger sizes and there are plenty of notes to make them smaller as well.

MATERIALS:
For this Set I teamed up again with the lovely ladies from The Golden Purls. They dyed up colors that scream the show and characters in every way. This Set is worked up in Main Color (White Sands on the Beach), and 3 Accent Colors (“Little Sicilian Gecko”, “Get Real, Grandma!”, and “The Cheeseman”) (Blanche, Dorothy, and Rose).
Size US 4 Needles, one/two Circular or multiple straights.
Stitch Marker (s) optional.
Optional Blocking Materials, gram scale, and additional colors.

NOTES:
ALL 3 Patterns come with this single purchase.
I designed the Mitts and Hat to be unisex. Also each piece could easily be worked in just two colors or more. Perfect for leftovers as the accents as well. Approximate amounts of each color used are listed in the pattern. There will be updates including a Scarf and Headband soon (which you would receive automatic updates when they come out).
