Recommended needles:
4, 4,5 and 5 mm / US 6, 7 and 8 in 80 cm / 31.5 inches (we use the magic loop method for knitting small circumferences)

8 stitch markers
Stitch holder or scrap yarn.

Gauge: 18 sts and 27 rows in stockinette stitch on 4,5 mm / US 7 circular needles = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.

Procedure:
The sweater is knitted top down. First, the neck ribbing is knitted, which is then folded down and knitted together with the cast-on edge. Short rows and raglan increases are worked to shape the neck. Raglan increases are continued on the yoke.
Then, the work is divided for the body and sleeves, and on both parts, the picnic check pattern is knitted according to the chart at the back of the pattern. The sweater is finished with ribbing on the body and sleeves.
