Join Kimmie as she shares with her Mom her experience volunteering at their local shelter…One day, Kimmie got home and said she found her forever kitty. Mom knew that she had learned all about taking care of cats and so it was time to decide. The cat’s name was Pickles. Kimmie beamed when she talked about her. It was a calico cat that had it all. It was playful, beautiful, sweet, snuggly, soft, silly- all the kitty descriptive words Kimmie could come up with! Kimmie said that Pickles actally picked her! She said she pawed all the other kitties away and would hide in her jacket to keep warm. She loved this kitty and wanted to call it her own. Mom agreed and together they adopted Pickles… and the adventure began!
