Yarn:
This pattern is suitable for fingering yarn weights, in merino or its blends with cashmere, alpaca or silk.
Sample shown uses: Loft by Brooklyn Tweed, colors: Post Card (gray/purple), Tartan (blue).
Yarn Requirements:
1030 (1200, 1320) yds or 940 (1100, 1210) m
Finished Measurements (relaxed fabric after blocking):
width (neck opening to edge): 23 (25, 27)“/ 58 (64, 69) cm,
length (shoulder fold to edge): 23 (25, 26.5)”/ 58 (64, 67) cm.
Needles:
US 4 (3.5 mm) straight or 32”/80 cm circ, or size necessary to obtain gauge.
US 2 (2.75 mm) straight or 32”/80 cm circ, or two sizes smaller than gauge needles.
Notions: scrap yarn in contrasting color, crochet hook, darning needle, st markers, blocking wires, pins.
