One pair US 6 (4 mm) needles, or size needed to obtain correct gauge

Cable needle
Tapestry needle
US G-6 (4 mm) crochet hook
Waste yarn in a different color than head wrap yarn
Brooch or large decorative button

GAUGE: 24 sts and 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Cabled Lace patt st using larger needles, blocked.
