Phoebe is fun and whimsical and free! A great pattern to showcase those beautiful mini-skeins or to make use of all those precious leftovers from previous projects! I used two skeins in two different shades of gray and 6 gradient mini-skeins for this sample but the colour combinations are endless! This is a great meditative project, easy enough to watch your favourite show while you knit or chat with a friend over a cup of tea. Part of the Friends First series.

You will need:

Approximately 550 metres or
600 yards of fingering (or Sport weight) yarn in 2 colours (275 metres or 300 yards per colour) and approximately 38 metres or 40 yards each in six different contrasting colours (less yarn is required if you knit the shorter version)

One 4 mm/US 6 circular needles

Tapestry needle, crochet hook (for the fringes)

Size

Approximately 11” x 96” or
28 cm x 244 cm (the scarf will measure approximately 15” or 38 cm less in length if you use the number of repeats in parenthesis)

Gauge

21 sts and 28 rows = 10 cm in Stockinette stitch with 4 mm/US 6 needle after blocking (although not crucial, the gauge may change the size of your scarf)

Phoebe est légère, amusante etfree!

Phoebe est le patron parfait pour mettre en valeur les mini-écheveaux ou pour utiliser vos restants de laine précieux! J’ai utilisé deux écheveaux dans deux tons de gris et six mini-écheveaux en dégradé pour ce modèle mais les possibilités sont infinies!
