NOTES
- Cardigan is worked in 3 pieces: Body and 2 Sleeves.
- Lower edge of Sleeves and Body are worked in a Twin Rib pattern.
- The Sleeves are worked first, then the Body is worked from lower edge up to underarms. At underarms, the piece is divided for fronts and back and Sleeves are joined.
- The Yoke is worked in 3 different colorwork patterns. Colorwork can be worked by following the written instructions or the charts. When working from charts, read RS rows from right to left and WS rows from left to right.
- Ribbed front bands are worked in one with the Body and yoke.
- A circular needle is used to accommodate the number of sts in the Body. Work back and forth in rows on the circular needle just as if working on straight needles.
- When you see ‘work in pattern as established’ in the instructions, this means to work the next row of the pattern sts, lining up sts as in previous rows.
- When you see ‘work even’ in the instructions, this means to continue on in the pattern st you have established without changing the st count by increasing, decreasing, or binding off.
