Petite Brise is worked seamlessly from top to bottom. The neckline and the slightly rounded hem are formed by short rows. This results in a very clean and professional line, especially for the neckline. By combining the contiguous method and raglan increases, a good fit of the shoulder is achieved. The lower body is worked with a more or less pronounced A-line, with the increases emphasized by small eyelet lines. The fit is easy to adjust to your own preferences. Finally, a small flower motif is embroidered in duplicate stitch.

Any yarn with a nice drape that gives the right gauge will work well.

Yardage is calculated for approximately 16”/40cm lower body length and short sleeves. Please note that variations in gauge, individual knitting tension, yarn choice and length of the sweater will affect the amount of yarn needed.

Durch die Kombination der contiguous Methode und Raglan-Zunahmen wird eine gute Passform der Schulter erreicht. Der untere Körper wird mit einer mehr oder weniger ausgeprägten A-Linie gearbeitet, wobei die Zunahmen durch kleine Lochmusterlinien hervorgehoben werden. Die Passform lässt sich leicht an die eigenen Vorlieben anpassen. Zuletzt wird ein kleines Blumenmotiv im Maschenstich aufgestickt.
