This is a straightforward pattern that can be worked continuously, or with changing colours.
It works well with various threads and yarns, and can be adapted to make other things like cushion covers, doilies or berets - whatever use you make of it, please acknowledge my blog as the source of the central pattern. <3

I’ve worked three versions, DK with a 4mm hook, Super Bulky with a 10mm hook, and a super, super bulky with a 12mm hook. (Ravelry doesn’t have a 12mm hook size available to select, only 12.75mm).
