Materials
- Plymouth Yarn Jeannee Worsted (worsted weight; 51% cotton/49% acrylic; 110 yds/50g per ball): 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6) balls each white #0014 (A) and orange #0053 (B); 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5) balls red #0051 (C)
- Nazli Gelin Garden 5 (sport weight; 100% mercerized Egyptian cotton; 174 yds per ball): 1 ball red #500-58 (D)
- Small amounts green, blue and yellow sport weight yarn for embroidery
- Size 2 (2.75mm) needles for flower petals
- Size 8 (5mm) needles (plus spare for hem joining) or size needed to obtain gauge
- Size 10 (6mm) needles for picot row
- Size H/8 (5mm) crochet hook for provisional cast-on
- Stitch markers
Gauge
18 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches/10cm in St st.
