The Pet Pug Tea Cosy knitting Pattern was a request tea cosy design from someone who loves her adorable pet pug dogs. This toy dog tea cosy is of a Pug, those cute little wrinkly faces toy dogs, tiny, adorable and sad looking with big puppy eyes.

The main part of the tea cosy is the pug’s body and then his head, legs and tail are knitted and sew on.

It’s the head that is the main feature of the tea cosy and getting those all important wrinkles in. I have given the pug over-sized eyes which are toy safety eyes. The big eyes really add to the cuteness appeal.

I think most people find it totally charming when dogs cock their heads on one side. It makes them look like they don’t understand what we are saying to them. It just makes your heart melt, so I thought I’d put the pugs head on one side.

The Pug tea cosy is knitted with double thickness yarn to keep the teapot really warm. The pattern is knitted on two pins and you will need a pair of 24mm brown safety eyes.

The tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 2 pints.
