Pet Nat means “naturally sparkling” or “naturally bubbly” in French, which describes just as well the feeling you get when spring and summer finally arrive. So, the Pet Nat dress is for those days and evenings when you want to shine a little more in the summer heat.
The dress is worked bottom up with double thread on thick needles. It is somewhat transparent due to the large stitches. Feel free to wear it with a bikini underneath on the beach, with tights or just as it is. The front piece is designed to be tied tightly around the neck and is therefore extra high. The straps are worked as I-cords from held stitches at the front piece. No final sewing necessary – the dress can be worn straight away on warm summer days.
