Pero Shawl
I cast on the Pero Shawl during the 2018 Winter Olympic Games intending to design a piece with a bold and graphic feel — something that would keep me engaged, but which would also be easy enough to work while gasping, cheering, and cringing along with the events. The shawl relies on a beautifully hued mini-skein set from Marianated Yarns and basic short rows for its simple but striking look. I think the “winged” motif is especially fitting for a time when athletes willingly fling themselves into the air over snow and ice!
Pattern contains written instructions.
Recommended Yarn:

Marianated Yarns Scrumptious HT, one solid skein (Main Color) — 400 yds to 100 g. Shown in colorway Bayou.
