This top down sweater is knit seamlessly in the round to the waist, then front and back are knit flat to create the split hem. The delicate lace pattern adds a nice touch. The sleeves are 3/4 length, but could easily be lengthened or shortened.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS

• two US size 2 1⁄2 / 3 mm circular needles, 16” / 40 cm long for the neck edging and a longer one for body edging

• two US size 4 / 3.5 mm circular needles, 16” / 40 cm long for the beginning of raglan shaping and a longer one for the rest of the raglans and body

• US size 4 / 3.5 mm double pointed needles for the sleeves (or a long circular needle if using Magic Loop technique)

• US size 2 1⁄2 / 3 mm double pointed needles for the sleeve edging (or a long circular needle if using Magic Loop technique)

• stitch markers

• row counter

• waste yarn for holding the sleeve stitches

• tapestry needle to weave in the yarn ends

GAUGE
24 sts and 36 rnds in Stockinette stitch using larger needles, after blocking = 4” / 10 cm
